I just stopped for my missed breakfast at a little place in the Marais on rue Vielle du Temple. It's called Tout au Beurre, beurre means butter and I expect they don't skimp on this when making their pastry and croissants.
This place is not unlike any other patisserie in Paris except for they seem to be serving in the Vienese way which is coffee and pastry on a tray with a glass and a pitcher of water.
I ordered a cafe au lait, Viennoiseries aux Almandes which is a pastry filled with almond and bits of chocolate. Delicious.

Have I eaten all the pastry of Paris yet?
